Project Summary:
North Shore Environmental Construction, Inc. completed the decommissioning, demolition and remediation of a bulk petroleum terminal. The project consisted of removing the truck loading rack, valving, petroleum transfer lines, and tanks associated with the commercial distribution of petroleum. Several structures were removed. Sub-surface remediation was completed after the removal of piping and structures.
Approximately 8,000 tons of petroleum impacted soil was excavated and transported for disposal to a Subtitle D landfill. Approximately 8,800 gallons of petroleum impacted water was removed during the excavation.
Project completed for a petroleum terminal.
