The key to any successful project is a well trained work force with good work skills. North Shore maintains continual safety training programs for employees to comply with required OSHA requirements for Health & Safety. North Shore’s employees are classified as being in safety sensitive positions. Various types of spill responses and site remediation can involve a higher risk of personnel safety due to the type of physical or mental hazard associated with the job.

North Shore philosophy is Teamwork and to adhere to the highest standard of quality and safety. North Shore employees and managers have received the following OSHA training certifications including yearly 8-hour refresher courses in several types of hazardous materials and construction programs:

Site-specific health & safety plans

Our work will begin with an extensive safety and job hazard analysis. From this we will develop a site-specific health and safety plan (HASP) that covers the hazards and personnel safety associated with the project to ensure that the project runs smoothly, safely and quickly. Tailgate safety meetings are also conducted on a daily basis.
